even if these gears available from kia/mazada are not cryotreated, I would assume that they are ok unless you're talking like an uber large amount of hp.....

Kia SF has a 5 day turnaround for ordering dammit...

we live in a free market economy where supply and demand dictates the prices. I don't see anything wrong with finding another source for parts that is cheaper. It drives the costs down and leads to product innovation.

BTW 4.44s from MazdaSpeed are not $270, your friends are wrong, they are $370. I had someone check for me.

Just FYI

And to add fuel to the fire, I am personally running the Mazda 4.44s in my S2K.
