Anybody that isn't a dork yet probably hasn't revved past 6 grand...
( my friend's friend's father owned an Integra GSR and didn't know what the fuss was all about. my friend asked his friend's father if he had revved it to redline. he replied he had never taken it over 5 grand. when the guy finally did rev it out, he was a giddy GSR owner like the rest )

I'm a dork, too -- in many more ways than simply s2kism. And Qube, you can't be too much of a dork; I've read many a thread about your impressive exploits. We still need the pictures, by the way.

I recall several months ago I was driving in traffic and saw a black S2000 merging onto the freeway behind. Remember, I'm driving the very "subtle" yellow car and he pulls up next to me and I turn and give him a wave! Instead of a friendly gesture, I'm faced with a guy with his baseball cap on backwards, the seat reclined way back and arms out like he's driving an old Italian car. Not a peep, sideways glance, nothing !!!
I paced him for a second or two and then let him go, when I got home, I told my wife that I felt like such a geek , she agreed , and the other guy was "way too cool for me"
