Default Rear bumper and Taillight not flush?

Hi, I have a problem with my rear bumper on a 04 ap2, the taillight and bumper dont sit flush? it bows out away from the taillight. Here's a crude picture, sorry to whoever car this is, only picture I had of a rear bumper at the moment, the car in the picture is NOT MINE, just used it as a example, once again sorry to who owns the car.

Pretty Much in the picture if u place ur hand on Point 2, u can see and feel the bumper start to push out already away from trunk and as u run your hand along the bumper and taillight, the bumper isn't flush with the taillight and bows out the most in between 1 and 2, it starts to flatten out around the corner of the bumper and taillight. Its light something is pushing out the bumper away from the taillight so it doesn't sit flush. The bumper IS brand new from honda and was repainted and installed by a 3rd party shop, and it bows out around that area.

Any adjustments on the bumper to stop this bowing out?

I'd just take it back to the paint shop to have them fix it. I had the same problem with my front bumper around the headlight after having it repainted and it took them about 3 minutes to fix it.

I had a misaligned bumper problem some years ago on a Volvo S60. Turns out that one of the clips had sprung. It took literally one minute for a tech to get it back in place.

P.S. If you post a picture of some other person's car, please be sure to block out license plate number or any other owner-identifying data.

Sorry, i've taken out the plate, thanks for pointing it out.

Anyone actually adjusted this themselves? is there any adjustment at all with the rear bumper? just wondering for future reference incase it gets out of whack again.
