Default Rear Defroster not working

Hey,

I replaced my top about a year ago under warranty, and I just realized today

that my rear defroster wasn't functioning. Is it possible that the dealer didn't

connect a plug that goes to rear window?

I currently have 30000 miles on my car, and am I still covered under warranty

for this ? please help

There would be a plug for the rear defroster function. That plug should be in a fairly accessible location, so that those who switch between soft top and hard top can easily transfer the connection as needed. Hopefully, someone who has used the hard top will chime in soon with a more authoritative answer.

This exact thing happened to me as well. I took it back within 2 months though and it was fixed in 5 min. I didn't know where the connector was but its supposedly accessed through the trunk....thats all I know.

electrical connection is right behind the driver shoulder, door side for the hard top. A coil cord makes the connection to the connector.

Yeah,

I was kinda irritated at the fact that this wasn't done right so

I took it into my own hands and during yesterday night, I

basically did some research on the site and found some infos on this.

I found my connector disconnected inside of trunk

Got it fixed but dealers are punks man.

GT NFR, I pmd you for a question regarding elastic straps on soft top.

Thx guys
