I was rear-ended last night waiting to get on a highway. The on ramp was under construction so we had no merge lane.
I was just sitting there and the goon behind me just smacked into the back. Boy this is a solid car. Only 5mph collision. Minimal damage to my car but his saturn got busted up pretty good. The shock wasn't that bad either.

Anyone know of any good shops in South PA/Balt/DC/N.VA area??

Thanks

bill

Believe it or not, it looks like it could be pulled out and painted. A new bumper is about $500 unpainted. The muffler tip is about $15.

So you have about $1000, what's your deductable?

Sorry, man. You might call some of the Porsche/Mercedes/BMW dealers in your area and ask who does their body work. Since these owners tend to be very particular, these shops probably do quality work. I hope the Saturn guy had insurance. Good luck.

I believe his insurance company is paying for it. I don't know what his deductible is

I don't want a repaired bumper, and yes the tip is pretty banged up. But the left part of the exhaust is also bent down and out a little. Is this something that can be straightened or can that section be replaced? I don't want to milk this guys insurance company but my car should be back to new condition like it was before the accident.

Bill,

Sorry to hear about your collision. That sucks Hopefully the other party will pay for your repairs.

Does the guy from MotorWeek - Pat Goss...does his shop do body work? This is the only place that I know about in your area....

Good luck getting it fixed!

Sorry to hear about the incident!

Ya know, if you and Ching could just get the timing right you all could probably get a group rate.

My friend Mark as done some work on a few S2000's already (incl. mine twice). His shop's work is exemplary!

Although Pat used to own a body shop I believe his current shop does not dabble.
