Have the complete bumper replaced, including the inner structure. Also, have the muffler(s) replaced, since there can be hair cracks which will start to rust (if bent back). make sure you check the taillamps as well, since they can small cracks as well, leading to leaks and 'fog' in the lights.
Good luck. Fortunately nobody got hurt!

Im concerned about the procedure on bending the exhaust piping back into shape. I'll see what the appraiser says.Bill
I would just drive it the way it is, and pocket the cash!!! But then again, mine doesn't have any damage!!
Sorry to hear about it man!!!!!
Oh, and Han, what brand is that exhaust you have on your camry?!?!?!?!???

Whatever his deductible is, it's irrelevant to your damage. His insurance company is responsible for 100% of your damage.

Anyway, now his insurance company wants to appraise the damage even though mine did this morning. Im scared they are going to appraise it very low and force me to fight. I got quotes today just for parts costs from a few dealers. Looks like rear bumpers are only $280 - $300 painted. Not bad and probably cheaper than fixing and repainting the damaged one. IF i need to replace the exhaust, we're looking at $493 and exhaust tips are... hold on to your hats...$59/piece! All in all, it may very well be under 1k to fix.
I know the exhaust is bent and im concerned about bending it back. Im getting estimates tomorrow,so i'll see what the consensus is among shops. Thanks for the shop suggestions everyone.

[b]Believe it or not, it looks like it could be pulled out and painted. A new bumper is about $500 unpainted. The muffler tip is about $15.
