I am looking into possibly getting glass for the 2k S2k and I was told that you can put just the window in from a 05+ into one with the old plastic. This isn't true is it? And what is the cheapest way to get a glass window with installation how much $ are we lookin at.

 

you can simply replace the top with one from a 2002 or later.

you can get the top from www.hardtopguy.com for like $900 and either mount it to your EXISTING frame with some modifications or buy a 2002+ frame and bolt it into your car. the latter is easier.

Installation of the top is about 8 hours labor or about $500.
