Default Rear jack point

i know i know, please dont flame, but where the heck is the rear jack point, ive read its the rear differential, but to be honest, no idea what that is!!! TIA

This is the rear diff:


The reason you want to know where to jack it up would mean that you intend to do some sort of mechanical work. Since you don't even know what a rear differential is, doing mechanical work would seem to me like a disaster waiting to happen.

pretty far back in there, on the front subframe.

Front jacking point:


It's that part just above the scale on the handle of my torque wrench - looks like the yoke for an oxen.

BTW, the owners manual shows you pictures of all the jacking points.

HAHA thanks guys, dont worry, just doing some harmless painting on the calipers, no way in the world will this noob do any mechanical work, removing and replacing the aif filter is about as much as i would want to get into.

Painting the calipers (properly) is more complicated than many mechanical tasks
