Has anyone had the plastic rear window replaced? Is that part of a recall? Will the dealer pay for it? I can hardly see out of mine.

I had mine replaced under warrantee. There is a TSB out on it. I believe it is #00-048. I was told by the dealership that it is a one-time thing.

Mine started fogging up because I can't get out there to wash it in the winter. Here in Florida it gets pretty darn cold for about a month. heh heh
anyway, I sprayed some Plexus on it, and now it looks clear as glass.

Hey thanks guys. I just placed an order with Autofanatics 860-653-0857 and spoke with Bob. He was fast and friendly and the prices aren't bad.

So did you notice any differences since you had it replaced? Does it scratch or crease as much like before?

I'm sure it would. It is made out of the same material as the original window. I am now using the Muz mat and the Miata tube to prevent scratches and creasing.

Honda_S2K, you mentioned Miata tube...How is it being used in your car? I also have Muz's mat.
