rear tie bar, does it make any difference?
When I first saw the bent over edging of the bar I was very worried that I might had missed some frame damage in my due diligence search before buying the car. Turned out that everything else looked fine and I went the bling comptech route
The factory bar while functional is very cheap and flimsy next to the billet comptech btw.

You can twist the factory one by hand.
thetz99 - Though very nicely machined, I wonder what would have happened to the Comptech brace had it been on the car when the OEM bar was flattened out. Aluminum is not nearly as elastic as steel, so I suspect it would have been more severely damaged by the impact.

Please tell us how you bent the factory bar.
He made it sounds as if it is somehow not his fault!
I've seen someone breaking several componets of the car including rear tie bar when he bottomed out his car from driving stupid.

I run a Speed rear tie bar, nice and shiny
