Folks at Acura better get off their dead asses and get some rear-drive cars (not SUVs) in the showroom.

Lexus has led this category for years now (giving the German luxury cars a run for their money), and Infinity is passing Acura as well.

The idea of the flagship RS as a front-driver is sheer lunacy.

FWD works just fine for 99.9% of the driver's needs out there.

Not everyone flogs their cars on the twisites or the track.

It's a good idea to provide FWD drive to the majority of drivers -- it's safer for the rest of us. Most are not capable of handling RWD cars.

That may be true Rick but they'll never sell one to me. Acura's CL-S may be a decent car but with cars like Lexus's IS300 and Infinity G35 and coupe, Acura's won't even tempt me to take a test drive. Buying a car with front wheel drive because you encounter snowy conditions 10 times a year is ridiculous. What about the other 355 days left in the year. I'll buy a rear driver every time and invest in a set of Blizzaks.

I agree, but my concern is the very large population of lousy drivers, who have us outnumbered

It never went anywhere over here. We cut our teeth on RWD cars.

Four wheel drive is best for my Wyoming needs: Front two in the winter capable Prelude and rear two in the S2000 for mountain twisties in the summer.
