Default Rear wheels underwing?

Can somebody answer why haven't Honda put an underwing on the rear wheels. Is there an practical reason not to?The reason I am wondering is why does all the dirt has to hit the rear bumper and the exhausts?Has anyone put underwing there?Plastic ones are most likely?

You guys are so cruel!
All fun aside, you can have these "mud flaps" by getting ones off another car and modifying them to fit the contours of the S2000. This has been done and at least one board member has posted pictures of them. Try a search on mud flaps and see what you come up with.
ps. They actually didn't look bad at all.
pps. Mine have the Playboy bunny on 'em.

Those plastic things you're referring to are not for the purpose you mentioned. They are for aerodynamic reasons and there are 2 more in front of the rear wheels, too. Look for "mud flaps" like in my previous post.

I think stena might be talking about the plastic panels inside the front wheel wells? I'm just guessing here though... Compared to the fronts, the rear wheel wells are somewhat open.
