Hey - just wondered if anyone has had this problem... when my soft top is up the rear window barely rests on the roll bar hoops. When driving and going over bumps, the glass rattles as it vibrates and rattles against the rollbar. Very annoying!

Does anyone else have a problem with this or is it normal? It is a MY06.

Any input greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I've got an 06 and my rollbars are nowhere near the rear window. I wish I could help you out more identifying the problem, but I really have no clue what's going on, but you can be sure that ain't right.

 

mine doesnt get near it either. maybe honda needs to fix it.

 

The back section of your top must be sagging our torn loose at the rear attachment points. The window should not be able to touch the roll hoops.

 

Take it to Honda...especially since your car's under warranty!

 

I'm with everyone on this...My glass window is nowhere near my roll hoops. You should check for any tears or it is just sagging alot.

 

I don't like recommending anyone go to the dealer if it's something simple but in your case, I don't think you have any other choice.
You might get a new top in the best case and worst case ,you have documented a problem that may lead to a new top down the line without any hassel. GL

actually, a pic might be great, as we may see where yours 'sags' and ours is taut. that may let you know what part of the top is at fault.

let us know if you need a pic to compare. i'm lazy so it would take a bit of time if it comes from me
