Smile Rear Window Knifed

Hi

I have only just got my S2000, and some F%$*%!G idiot has put a knife ( not a key ) through my plastic rear window.... please tell it can be repaired or replaced!?! any ideas would be great!

Plastic window can be replaced by itself, but with the labor involved you might as well upgrade to a top with glass window.

Ugh sorry to hear that. I've got a glass top and am happier with it, but there's not much that can be done about vandalism--they can always knife the top itself if they really want to.

Hardtops are an option, but it's still more expensive. I haven't heard of the company, but you'll probably want to ask in the UK section of S2ki. Our dollars have been pretty worthless over the ocean these last few years!

Good luck getting it fixed, and I'm sorry to hear it.

If you have insurance I'd say they did you a favor. Get your ins co to give you a check, then replace the roof with a glass window top, the plastic is just awful.
