Default Rear Window- Replacement

I just picked up an S2K with 6000 miles on it, but the rear window's pretty scratched up. It is possible to replace JUST the window, or do you have to throw an entire top on there? Thanks

This is what the replacement piece looks like before being installed. The instructions say to remove the seats, plastic throughout the back, rivits, and then take the top apart and install this. Although you'll find zippers on the plastic piece, they are not used in the replacement process.

Mine was replaced under warranty because my first plastic window delaminated. I'm not thrilled with how the replacement came out.

Do you think they will replace mine? I have the same line as you but I have two lines. It makes it difficult to see behind because the crease is where the cars are at and it distorts them.

I wonder if you could buy the replacement piece only with a glass window and save $ over a whole new top?

I went with a new glass window, and I love it. It was worth it to me ($400 for a "new" top, and $300 for labor to install it).
