I'll try the hot water, Aaron, if sunlight doesn't work.

Can someone look inside the trunk along the top, front where there are two vertical pieces of gray felt board that hide the spare tire and the gas tank. There are four holes along the top. My upholsterer only installed three black plastic "rivets" with pull tabs. The fourth hole on the extreme left he left empty. Does a black rivet without a pull tab go there, or one with a pull tab or is it supposed to be empty.

Thanks. I'm getting a list ready for my dealer for Tuesday.

Barry, how long after you got your car before your plastic window started to bubble up? What exactly did you tell the dealer? Is it really covered under the warranty? If it is, then we don't have to worry since we can go ahead and change it. I have a extended warranty, so it would be great if they covered it.

Thanks for the quick response Barry. Does anybody else have problems with bubbles. I know just about everyone have some sort of crease on their window, but bubbles?

I'm curious about something. Should Honda go along and approve a replacement rear window for someone having problems with the plastic one....do you think they'd simply let you pay for the difference in the part? Meaning, if they approve a replacement for my 2001 and the glass one fits, do you think they'd allow it, to keep me from coming back again and again? I'd be happy to pay the difference in the part price, if they pick up the labor.

Something to think about....

rjm161, I am in that predicament and plan to see what the dealer will do.

I'm at only 700 miles with my week old s2k and there are a number of scratches and dings in the rear plastic window.

I wish I knew about this site when I purchased the car because these dealers either don't know jack about the car or don't care enough about repeat business to give the heads up. I'm guessing it's the latter when considering the amount of talk and dissatisfaction on this site. I'm hopeful these issues have been communicated to the dealers as well as the corp. Is there any type of Honda marketing rep that subscribes to this page? If not, then they have a long way to go.

Dear People,
In last week's Auto Express, a UK weekly car mag, they have declared a glass rear window for the 2002 models. If not surely some S2K engineer/owners out there could adapt the glass window on the Miata MX-5 for the S2K?
