Me too. I just use my own window protector tube which I covered in the same velour as my roof well mats. Except I made it from some nice rubber tube instead of the foam pool stuff.

What length tube are you guys using??
Mine is about 3 or 4" in from both edges of the window and all seems fine until I put the tonneau/boot cover on, then I think whilst pushing the roof down to get the boot to stay on, I got creases either end of where the tube was.
Are your tubes the full width of the screen???

Thanks

Ross

I used to use a homemade tube. Now I use nothing and have had no problems.

Mine is 1 metre in length and can be trimmed to size without damaging the velour outer cover.

i created a great device to stop all creasing and denting from the metal frame and folding. i have sold several already. i use it on my car and its great. email me if interested. mr29rose@cs.com $30.00 each. i do currently own the miata tube but that only helps the center fold and not the rest of the plastic. trust me my unit is great. i sell it to many people i run into here in miami.
good luck

How wide is the rear window? How long/wide are your tube(s) & what diameter? My Stook will be here in July & I want to make my own tube "thingee". I'm using PVC covered in black felt. Any advice would be appreciated.
