Wow. Your stupidity is unbelievable.

I do envy the family affair thing you have going on though.

while it is respectable that you explained your whole background, you pretty much confirmed the original issue. the fact that a person like you can afford the car is what brings it down. it is NOT your fault. just matter of fact.

i was 17 when i got my s, and im 19 now. i seriously cant believe your trying to prove that you do not fall into the stereotype because you really contradicted yourself. drifting on public roads and holding a camera while driving is just plan reckless. its the lack of maturity and stupid things that people like you do that puts them into the stereotype. go hit a track day or autoX and learn something, rather than being a hazard on public roads

I'm young too.

Don't listen to the older crowd on here. Most of them are jealous that they didn't have the diligence to work hard enough to afford something like the S2K when they were your age.

Good story, I thought it was pretty sweet.

Who cares if kids are driving these now?
Not the fact of what they are driving, that doesnt matter. What matters is HOW they are driving it.

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe if you say it enough times you'll believe it.

For some of us, our "diligence" and "hard work" when we were "your age" is what will keep us in NEW sports cars for years to come.

I had sport bikes when I was "your age." And at that age, I sure enjoyed having an SUV for... you know... Good times, fond memories.

Being young is for enjoying , and

Not worrying about conserving gasoline on a $7 / hr budget.

If you think owning an S2000 is fun, just imagine how much fun it would be if you had plenty of $$ to spend on R-compound tires, track school, and mods... without having to worry about engine replacement costs if you break something.

EDITED BECAUSE IT WAS TOO MEAN:
Just think. Where are you going to be in 10 years? People without a long-term plan can work hard spinning their wheels in place... without going anywhere.

For reference:
Porsche Driving School: $3000
Lotus Driving School: $2000
Audi R8 Driving School: $3400
Skip Barber 3-day Racing School: $3700-4000 (depends on venue)

Driving while holding a camera is deff. reckless.

but you guys who are flaming him for drifting on the way to the doctors.....he could have been doing it in a completly responsible way. you really dont know. if it is not in a nieghborhood, no pedestrians are present, no other vehicles are present, i see no harm in doing some low speed "drifting".

EDIT: im 19. id have to say i am a better driver then most people my age or older, but i still dont 100% know the limits of the car. just be carefull and dont wreck it.

But everyone says that they're a better driver than most.

Without specific training or objective proof (track times, etc)... it's just talk.

Just like the s2k'rs who swear by the butt dyno that they have a factory freak and their mods make them "pull hard!" Only to find that they are putting 180hp to the wheels and running mid-14s at the track.
