Long story made short: A guy in Japan had an awesome vented CF hood made for his Corrado by Planning Spot. They also make CF hoods for other cars, the S2000 among them. I am not a vendor, but I think it'd be worthwhile for a vendor to start carrying these hoods. I am told they are of very high quality.

The price is very reasonable at about 90,000 yen or about $800US, not including shipping.

Hopefully an S2ki vendor will jump on this one.

i just noticed something...if you look in the last picture on your post, it's got some kind of spot left for some kind of intake duct (i'm assumin; maybe the mugen?).

Is it made completely out of 100% carbon fiber like the Amuse or is it fiberglass on the underside like the J's Racing version?

Not sure, they list three different versions, one is FRP, and two are some sort of CF, not sure, can't read Japanese.
