If you guys read your contracts that you signed, you failed to read the RECISSION part, YET you signed it. The dealer has 10 days to to notify you of recission from the contract date if the dealer cannot obtain financing. This could very well be the case, the bank doesn't want to lend the money or found something out. They very well can take the car back. Read your contracts. And it's not a scam. The bank may want to only lend the customer 30k and the customer needs 33k to buy the car, therefore leaving a 3k diff. It's not legal to raise the price of a car, they can lower it or adjust the rate. If it's been over 10 days and they have not notified the customer then the dealership has to honor that contract. That is the LAW.

This happened to me before. Dont sign any paperwork. A contract is final. There is no "cooling off period", it is clearly stated on all dealership walls.

yup..those forms are 8.5x17 4 part form fed thru the big printer..
press hard you are making 4 copies.. etc...
you know the back side of the contract has lots and lots of fine print that is very hard to read.. and you know its all in THEIR favor..

probably is something about right to recend..

SODA is correct, there was a case recently, I believe in Nashville, where a guy had the truck stolen back by the dealer from his driveway while he slept.
There was a lawsuit a few years ago that went to a high court, like a state supreme court, that had to do with this somewhat. The decision handed down was that the MAX that a dealer COULD be sued for was like twice what the difference was between contracts or something like that. Basically making the penalty so small that its worth it to them to try and do it more often to increase profits.

The recission is on the very front of the contract, along w/your signature right below.
