Not in the shop but she has been down since Nov. 26. Been put away for the winter till maybe April or May. Whenever all the snow and salt have been washed away.

Lots of custom bits. They're working on it intermittently as a favor to me. That way it stays in their heated garage for most of the Winter as they have plenty of space.

My Elise was in a shop for 8 weeks. Gotta love parts coming on the slow boat across the Atlantic.

I had a side swipe accident a year and a half ago. Damage looked very slight. Was told 2 weeks. Took over 9 weeks to get fixed at the body shop. Worst shop ever. Was losing my mind dealing with those people.

mine is in pieces in my garage. I can handle that because I can see that its safe and sound at any time.

mostly just for alignments, I had a 3 hour alignment once. The head mechanic and the local honda dealer had never worked on a s2k before and claimed that it was impossible to adjust camber/ caster on my car... so I walked in, showed him how then took my business elsewhere

Ironically the ford dealer has an unreal alignment guy that I now use

Got in a fender bender on the 8th... Insurance woman checked it out on the 14th... Went into the body shop on the 15th... sat there waiting for parts until the 21st... and will finally be done tomorrow night or wednesday

So 17-18 days
