Default Red Aftermarket Seats in a Red S2000?

I cannot find one exaple of some red aftermarket seats in a red S2000. I am ordering a pair of Corbeau A4's today because my seats were stolen. I would really like to have red seats but ONLY if it will look "right" with the car.

This is what the seat will look like

or

So what should it be... BLACK or RED?

My sig can't be used to compare, the saturation is low and the contrast is high! If anyone has any real experience seeing this type of color setup please leave a comment, thanks!

ive never seen that either, but probably because it would be almost impossible for the seats to be a perfect match for the NFR paint. having a shade of red that is not the same as the shade on your car would look akward IMO...especially with the top down. id go with the black corbeaus i have black sparco torinos and am very pleased with them. sorry to hear about your seats

I agree. Two different shades of the same color will look awkward, unless it contrasts very nicely with something else.

Thanks for the quick reply. Its too bad its impossible to get a perfect match. But if red seats can be put in and still look "right" in the car then that is all I am looking for.

Corbeau offered to send me out some sample patches, but I REALLY need some seats soon so unfortunately I cant afford to wait.

you could try photoshopping it in there. im not good with that kind of stuff but some guys are so maybe theyll chime in and help out. but, you can pretty much just look at your sig picture with the NFR paint, in contrast with the bright red corbeau seat, and tell theyre not going to match.

I am a photoshopper and I know that the color reproduced in two separate pictures renders comparison utterly useless. The color of my car in my signature is set for low saturation and high contrast, with a little less brightness. On top of that who knows how Corbeau filtered their own stock photos. I was hoping someone would have some pictures of red seats in one photo or has seen them themselves somewhere.

just go with the black... a 2 tone red is a hit or miss.

GL!

I'd play it safe and go black. It will look good.
