I've done over 2 dozen for thre SoCal S2K community. Mine are over 4 years old and finally ready for a touch-up. Th eonly time they get chipped is when the tire shop mounts the rims when getting new tires. I make it a point to tell them to be extra careful and not damage the paint and they are typically cool about it.

I primarily use the G2 kit. Prep each caliper for about an hour (dremel tool - grinding stone) to remove the rough finish and large casting seam from the molding process.

I used to get the decals online, but that source has gone dry. I now make them myself and sell them for $11/set (front and rear) shipped. As of now I only have white decals in stock. Let me know if you'd like a set.

Are you going to have any decal kits in black anytime soon? How is the quality of the ones you make? Any reports of them fading or peeling off? Interested in getting at least for the front. Don't know about the back calipers.

Nice work Hockey. But yeah, def grind the casting marks off before you paint. Mine are painted with the G2 kit too.

Well, this is a new batch of fresh vinyl. The adhesive has held up well in the past. I've even gone so far as to put a few layers of clear coat over the whole thing when I'm done, but it isn't a requirement.

I've only had one set peel up out of the dozens that I have installed for people (as part of my painting their calipers). It was a random event. A few have even tracked theirs (Dragonheart & S2000Patrick + more) without any problems.

Black would be my next one to produce. I have to go pick up a new roll of white later in the week and I'll price out some black while I'm there. If I get enough interest I'll go ahead and invest in a new roll of black as well.

Yes. It's a "dynafile". Works good and fast.

Beautiful work Rajun & Hockey! I Dremeled mine (wish I'd had that air tool) and painted them silver (G2). For my 2 cents, I think our calipers are kind of puny to be painted a bright color, esp w/larger wheels. Decals seem kind of redundant to me - I know what kind of car I'm driving. When I did mine I mixed the paint in quarter-size batches so I could do each wheel without worrying about having to hurry so it wouldn't harden before I finished.
