Default Red Interiors

In my search for a used S2000, i have noticed that red interiors cost a little less than black. For the guys that have red interiors, do you like it??

You'll probably find that it is a love it or hate it kind of thing. You may want to rephrase your question though; if someone bought their car with a red interior, then in all likelihood they like a red interior.

I, for one, hate them.

It's one of those things, on the black it's growing on me, plus it won't get as hot in the sun...

I never liked the red interior. I got my S2000 in 2000 when it was still supposed to be 5000 units a year, hard to find a dealership that had one or was getting one, etc...

So I bought mine with red interior, then later swapped out for black carpet with someone that wanted red carpet, bought black door panels for like $60 from someone on here, and then went to an upholstery supply place and bought a bunch of black vinyl dye and used that on the seats. Which the dye stuff works pertty well, but its more of a coating then a dye I guess. It sometimes cracks a little as the leather creases when you sit in it, so every now and then I have to touch it up. But I only dyed the seats a few weeks ago, so I hope I'll have to quit touching up eventually, it seems to almost getting used to the curves and creases in the leather. but if I ever get enough money together I will probably buy some black seats from someone on here.

i for one love the red interior, but my tan is still ok. i wanted to buy my car new in '03, and the tan interior just came out at the time. eventually down the road, i'll swap them out to red, just because it looks better with white. with all that being said, anyone wants tan interior for their red?

The half & half interior as seen above is gorgeous, but the all read interiors are hideous.

GPW w/red is the only red version that I liked. As for any other color combo....I prefer black interior.

As a rule......IMHO......leather doesn't look natural in "red".......
