Default Redline in 6th?!

Has anyone tried, or does anyone know if it is possible to redline an S2K in 6th gear? Otherwise what is the top speed it can go. Post the fastest you've gone in your S2k if you'd like. Story time!!!

If you actually have an S2k, you'd have realized that it's pretty impossible to redline 6th.

Top speed's around 140-150.

well, it's pretty impossible in a stock AP1 since it's drag limited. If i'm not mistaken, AP2 is gear limited so it is possible to redline an AP2 in 6th.

I have been close to redline in sixth. Hit 155mph and I had to let off do to what was up ahead. I cannot remember where I was exactly on the rpm gauge, but I think it was basically there. I do remember though a time before when I got to 150 that I was about 600rpm away from 8k.

If you actually have more balls... you'd know it's capable of going faster than that . My balls only let me took her up to 155, and it was still pretty far from redline.

Well, all the car mags report a top speed of a little over 150. With AP1's like mine where top speed is drag limited, top speed is ahieved in 5th. My calculations show that IF an AP1 were modded to fully overcome the drag limitation in 6th and could hit red line in that gear, the top speed would be 168.75.

Thanks,
Richard

Is that so? Well if you're such a genius, can you explain to me why I have a video of a guy redlining 6th gear for about a minute and going 276 km/h?
