Has anyone tried, or does anyone know if it is possible to redline an S2K in R gear? Otherwise what is the top speed it can go. Post the fastest you've gone in your S2k if you'd like. Story time!!!

Yes, it is possible to redline in reverse. I did it a long time ago in my AP1. I can't remember the exact speed, but I do know that reverse is taller than first.

 

AP1 ............. 47.9 mph.
AP2 ............. 41.2 mph.

Those crazy "Houstook" boys used to drag race each other in reverse.
The one thing about driving that fast in reverse is that if you so much as flinch with the steering input, you're toast.

 

I've done it Hit the rev limiter to boot

For fun too go to 35-40mph in first and set cruise control

 

didn't all this start ages ago when someone first noticed the speedo worked in reverse??
