What is the official redline of this car? Also, what is the range of Vtech on the car?

There is no V-Tech range on this or any other Honda. However, the S2000's V-TEC, and all other V-TEC Hondas, range is from 0 rpm to Redline. In the case of the S2000, the second cam profile of V-TEC is activated at 6,000 to 6,250 RPM depending on conditions (throttle position etc). It remains engaged until ignition cutoff at roughly 9,250 (?) rpm (beyond the redline at 8900/9000 rpm).

 

Actually, if you want to get really technical the VTEC starts at 5850 rpm.

 

No, if you were really technical, VTEC never starts. It is either on the less or more agressive profile.
