Default Reducing the startup noise of the exhaust

I got a dual hks exhaust. I'm getting complaints so i was wondering if anyone know what i can do to solve this problem. I startup my car everyday in the morning which wakes everyone up. Another option would be getting silencers but i'm not sure if i want to. I might but if there ain't another way, i'm going to silencers then. I start my car up in a garage. If it wasn't for the garage, it would been so much louder outside my driveway. I was thinking of shutting my garage door but then that would just fill my garage up with gasoline fume. My garage has two slots for two cars. Its basically shared into one room but with only one garage door. Should i try shutting my garage door?, i would still have another opening on the other slot.

You could close your garage door and just route some pipes from your mufflers to outside.

Or...you could just open windows in your garage. In my garage we have 4 windows.

Just close the garage door....a little bit of exhaust gas won't hurt....just don't stay inside the garage.

What kind of neighbors you have? The car can't be that loud at idle....unless it's a race car.

if your driveway is slanted and straight, just let the car roll to the street first.

Just a thought but maybe putting you Cat back on might help...

You have an HKS and your neighbors complain? Do you live in an elderly community or what? I have a 70mm single and that thing is loud when I start it up. Maybe you should get a 70mm for a week or so and your neighbors will be begging you to go back to the HKS.

Anyways, when my neighbors start up the Harley's they're way louder and nobody seems to care.

Tell your neighbors to piss off. And so what if you wake them up early, some of us work.
