Dude I am boosted and my neighbors haven't said anything and that thing is loud at idle. My neighbor has a Chevelle SS and it is modded to the max so I guess there is a mutual understanding haha. My other neighbor has the Cherokee SRT8 and that thing is loud as well. Don't worry drive your car without a silencer they have to get used to it.

I heard your not suppose to rev it when you start it up because its already warming up by itself. so yeh i don't rev it.

Buy some ear plugs and give them to your neighbors.

You dont live in a duplex or anything do you? How far is your neighbors house from yours?

might sound weird, but try backing your car into your garage and see if that helps.

once i get an exhaust my neighbors better not complain... i got neighbors with 60's vettes..a full drag 69 camaro where he literally practiced a launch on our street lol like how you hear at the track ridiculously loud ..motorcycles..atvs..etc
actually my street is pretty good lol

my custom single is LOOOOUD and my neighbors are old ppl and one dude that is gone at 4 am every day and if its nice he takes his loud ass harley. the old dude just takes his hearing aid out lol. i figure that harley has got to be louder than my s, so get over it neighbors lol

Nothing you can really do to make it quieter on start up. I had a Megan single and man that thing sent vibrations all the way to the second floor. I did feel bad though but I never got complaints. The only thing I can think of is either putting in the silencers til it warms up then remove them or just open the garage enough to let the fumes out but still keep it quiet.
