Default Refinised Rims

I was wondering should the rims look close to perfect after the work is done? Because I recently had my rims fixed and they look horrible.

When I got my 85 vette the previous owner had hit a curb with the stock wheel and destroyed the bead, ground off about a 8 inch section. Since I hated the new wheels he put on (gold, ugg!) I took the damage wheel to Ye Old Wheel Shop, in Elkridge MD. When I got the wheel back, it look SOOOO good compared to the three other stock wheels, that I had the other three refinished. On the damaged wheel, they brazed in some new aluminum and I could't find the repair. Great place.

Wheels that are painted are easier to repair than the clearcoated polished ones (like on the US S2000's).
