Hey i got a little bit going on witha buddy who is saying that a White S2k with red/black interior is"Rare" and thats a hard find and he was telling me that they sell them in the US White and Black interiors mostly and the red interiors are rare, and im almost positive that in the US all white S2s have the red/black interior for 00-01 and the full red for 02-03 and then the 04 have Tan am i correct that all the white S2s came with Red interior?00-01 being the 2 tone and 02-03 being the full red and 04 tan? am i right?

 

the 00-01's came with the red and black. the 02's came with the all red. the 03 and up came with the black and tan.

 

so basically i am correct then on the bet i have that the didnt make white with just black interior right?

 

I think you are right. I have NEVER seen a white one with ALL black interior, and I have looked at white ones alot for the last three years. I wish mine was all black, but I can live with the tan tho.

GPW itself is rare. If you look anywhere on the net, on ebay or s2000 meet pictures, anything where there is lots of s2000's. White will be the rarest color, IMO.

Only 7% of S2000's produced are in Grand Prix White.

 

Canada has GPW with a blue interior for 2003

 

Somewhere there are pics floating around of a white with all black interior, but I don't know if it was a custom switch or if it came from the dealer as such.

 

In Japan, you have the all black interior option on GP White.

 

Hey, I am they kid who is agruing with awsblink18 about the black interiors, the reason why is when i was looking into getting an s2k, there was a white one with ALL black interior at the dealership....it must have been a conversion then. Now thats pretty rare ony 7% of the s2k made are white...nice

 

May I ask where this "7%" number came from? Maybe this number refers to "S2000's imported into the US", because there is a lot of GPW models in Japan.
