Which is what gets me about people with cars designed for lower octane fuels putting the high octane stuff in because they thinks it's better for their car. Unless something's wrong with their car (or they advanced the timing on their own, a trick for a couple more HP in miatas), their likely just wasting their money and wasting fuel (it doesnt completly burn).. oh well..
Doh! I wasn't paying attention last on Friday at the pump and put a tank of Regular Unleaded (87 octane) in. I can assure you that even with the ECU, that octane rating cannot provide the stociometric mixture in this engine!
