Rear bumper alignment gap also causes paint to chip. Notchy shifting when cold. Interior materials that are so delicate they mar or scratch with the lightest touch. Other then that perfect.

I'm guessing he meant notchy shifting when cold, a lot of the time some fresh or better tranny fluid can fix this.

You know. That "clutch" thing that pokes out of the center console? It has a sort of knob or ball on top of it that's screwed onto a metal stick that's surrounded by a leather cone shaped thing? You move it with your hand when the engine goes vroom - vroom? You move it about the same time that your left foot pushes down on the tranny thing that sits left of the "go" pedal and the "stop" pedal?

Years ago I ran into an instruction in a gimmick ralley that threw me a loop. "Brake turn at POTS." I figured out that POTS was STOP backwards, but was too dumb to figure out that Brake and right were connected, so I couldn't figure out which way to turn.

And NO, am NOT blond!

is this a common thing on s2k?

my rear bumper has a larger gap near the taillights than it does at the fender area

well, it was like that until 2 nights ago when some JACKASS in a v6 mustang bumped my car at a red light... AFTER HE WAS ALREADY STOPPED!!! so whatever fitment issue i had was just exacerbated
