Default Removing Honda "H" Emblems...

I want to remove the Honda "H" emblems that are on the front and rear of my car. How would you guys/girls go about doing that? Are they just glued on, or bolted? Please let me know. Thanks.

I pulled, did I say pull? I meant PULLED!! mine off.

They are held on by two pins that have barbs on the end to hold them on.

As memory serves the back came off much more easily than the front. As a mater of fact the front came off in a bunch of pieces. I actually thought I was going to mess up the front of the car I was pulling so hard. But then it let loose and I fell back on my a**

Hope this helps

Did it leave holes in the car? I don't want that to happen otherwise I'm going to order Rick's Badges.

the same thing happened to me as Greg. i had to pull really hard to get the front one off. the back came off rather easily. if i remember correctly there are holes in the front and the back after the H emblems come off. the H emblems go in using two prongs. the front emblem had some sort of pin to hold it in place. good luck getting them off

Somewhere on this site are instructions for removing the emblems. I put masking tape around the edges of the emblem to protect the paint) and then used dental floss to "cut" through the sticky tape holding the emblems in place. I basically pulled the dental floss down and under the emblem. It was really simple and only took minutes to do. The tricky part is cleaning up the glue but that came off with 3M Adhesive, Bug and Tar remover (just don't over spray and/or let it sit a long time). Once the emblems were off and the glue cleaned up, I applied a coat of wax (Zaino) and attached the new emblems.

Yes, there are holes underneath. Two under each badge. Front and Back.

The holes can be filled and body parts repainted, it's not inexpensive or easy, though.

No holes under the side emblems.

Anyone have pics of a Suzuka Blue s2000 with Rick's badges on it? I'm not sure which color combo to get.
