Default Removing side mirrors

Good Afternoon,

When repainting my side mirrors, since for some reason they both were extremely fadded comapred to the rest of the car, I noticed the car looking better without them. Has anyone ever taken the side mirrors off and instead put some mirrors inside the car on each side. Just wanted to see some pics if someone has done this. Without them, it seems the car would look much better. Ofcourse you would lose some safety.

Thanks

Pretty sure that will cause you to fail inspection and pick up traffic citations... meaning its illegal.

If you want your mirrors to last longer, wax them when you wax your car.

I have no inspection requirement in TN and wonder if I really would get pulled over.

Older cars did not have a passenger side mirror.

Yea, nor do they have airbags, retractable seatbelts, or any of the additional myriad of safety equipment that are now required due to grandfather clauses in the updated laws. That doesn't mean that you can get away with the same things on newer models.

Try a set of carbon mirrors like the APR's if you prefer that look. They're visually much lighter than stock mirrors.
