Default Removing sliding door trim

Does anyone know if this silver trim piece is easily removable? Is it just some clips underneath, and will it break if I pull on it?

I'm replacing my entire center console area, and want to get the silver trim areas painted along with the radio door. So I'd like to remove just the trim from this to make it easier.

btw, it's so satisfying opening and closing this new sliding door, feeling what the piece felt like on a brand new car, compared to my s2k with 110,000.

It's definitely removable, it's just held on with a bunch of screws underneath

Thanks. I was able to get it after taking the assembly apart slightly. 4 screws underneath and it came right off.
