Default Removing the windsheild tape...

What are your opinions on this? Once you remove them, can you ever get them back on?

Personally, unless you have a black car, the miss-match in color of the windshield frame and the body color always irked me. does anyone have a pic of a white s2k with the top down and the tape removed? Thanks!

Not white as requested but here's my blue with no tape.

Soft top down:

Hardtop on:

The tape is very easy to remove, just peel and pull. To put it back on, go to your Honda dealer or contact hardtopguy and order new tape.

looks great OFF with the hardtop on, OTHERWISE leave it on. when the top is down and the windsheild tape is off, the car looks taller and it looks bad to me.

I removed mine, IMO it looks better with the top up, down, and HT on. JDM S2k's don't have windshield tape so why should I?
And crayon, it may take you a while to get your's off, as you say you have an "00 model. The tape comes off much easier if the car is fairly new.

Here's my Silverstone with no tape.

I prefer it without tape, hardtop or no hardtop.

It's much easier to remove when warm, either by the sun or a heat gun, rather than cold.

Sorry to get off topic but is PFB's silverstone lowered?

BTW, It doesnt matter to me whether the tape is on or off. I do think it looks better with the tape off when used with the HT.
