Just out of curiousity...how are the Stopteck BBK compared to other name brands ..ie: Wilwood, Brembo (very costly!). Is it just for good looks, or are these functional in everyday driving..no track scenarios. Thanks.

You can't outbrake your tires. You need to really upgrade your rubber (and probably also add downforce) before the stock brake rotors become the limiting factor in brake performance. For almost every S2000 in the world, BBKs are overkill and a waste of money (unless you consider it money well-spent for bling).
Even the full-on race cars generally do fine with stock-sized, undrilled, unslotted rotors -- as long as they use the appropriate pads and fluid. Problem is, the appropriate pad for the track is not a good pad for the street (and vice versa). Most of the compromise pads kind of suck at both.
But nobody's situation is exactly the same as everyone else's. Experiment and find out what works for you.

first of all....mikegarrison...I was thinking how funny it would be if your name weren't mikegarrison. That would be a funny ID. I'm not making fun of your name. I'm saying it would be funny if you used a random name as your ID but it weren't your name! I might switch my ID to jimrobinson! hahah..nevermind
I'll be debuting Cobalt VR's at FC...I was going to get GT's but my codriver is a professional so I don't want to disappoint him! So....cobalt vr's, ate super blue, and I added DIY brake ducting which I found the project extremely easy and I like the looks!!! I'm staying OE rotors and lines for FC.
