Default Replacement gasket for front chin/lip spoiler?

I'm in the process of installing a front lip I got from a friend for my '03 spa. The problem is that when he sold me the lip, he didn't include the gasket that comes with it. Has anyone ever found anything that can be used to replace the OEM gasket? I remember reading a thread a couple of months ago about a Toyota part number for an Echo or Yaris or something similar that was for a roll of weather strip that was the closest anyone had come to the OEM gasket. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

I don't think there is a gasket. It just fits on the bumper snugly.

I believe he's referring to the black rubber stip that fits between the lip and bumper. I; however, do not know if they sell this item separately.

Good luck!

I have checked with Honda and the rubber gasket only comes with the front lip. There is no separate part number. I have seen other people who've had front lips without the rubber gasket installed and the lip ends up scratching the bumper. I just want to do it the right way but apparently Honda expects you to buy the complete front lip if you ever need to replace the gasket

Here's a pic of the rubber gasket

I have heard of people buying a silmilar gasket/edge thing from a hardware store.

As soon as I get my shipment of lips, I'll be checking out what is closest.

I pulled mine off before I installed the lip and it still fit perfectly. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
