ummm do you mind reading the sentence again??.... Not trying to be a smart ass, but I do recall saying something like "functions like OEM" so yes the key starts the engine, opens and closes doors and trunk. Infact I'm using it as of now, and I put away my OEM key. No need to show anything, just take your current key to them plus $49.00+tax and they'll do the rest. BTW how's that honda CBR? I'm planning on getting one my self preferably the one with the ABS option.... just trying to complete my Honda collection! ....
as of now I got a 09 kawasaki ninja 250r .

$40 bucks at home depot if you want it to start your car. Or a dollar if you just want to unlock the door.

I was in the same situation and had to have one made.

Seems like I can post this here.

Can I purchase this key and have it cut and programmed for my 2001?

I don't think the chip set is the same, so I'm assuming no, but I don't know for sure.

Home Depot FTMFW! Wow. Too bad we don't have a Home Depot.

Funny how 200-300 for a key makes 50 bucks seem cheap for car key. Right?

I have 2 keys. The second one is always in my pants pocket with the other key fob and 2 way alarm.
