If OEM rotor are giving you trouble, upgrade your pads. As manso said, rotors are wear items. Also, OEM pads will damage any rotor you can get, no matter how much it cost.

I'm running on Hawk HPS pads and powerslot rotors. They're great.

Where are you finding Brembo rotors for $50 per set? How much are the NAPA rotors?

He was talking about blanks. They are plain replacement rotors. Not fancy but still very good quality. I thought they were more like $60ish but I guess you could shop better.

It must just be cosmetic reasons to go to the fancy disks. It is not like S2000's get a lot of brake fade between stop lights with the OEM disks

subzero cryo rotors are cryotreated OEM rotors and can be had in 3 flavors, plain, slotted, and slotted/crossdrilled. Wear tests show significant wear resistance, upwards of 3 times the normal wear period.
Sebring track days have shown no wear on subzero rotors, but OEM's show stress cracking after a full hard day.

PM Jcarlton, he makes them. I'm not sure what shops he has authorized to sell them. I'll be getting a set by christmas.
