Default Replacement Soft Tops

Hey everyone
I just got my soft top replaced with a Robbin's Canvas top with glass window. It looks great!!! However I'm concerned that it does not go down far enough when I lower the top.

The place which did my replacement told me that the canvas needs time to stretch. So I am waiting.

Anyone have this replacement done? I don't remember how low the soft top went with the old Vinyl and Plastic window.

BTW I have a 2000 S2000 so no glass until now.

Robbins makes the best aftermarket top IMO. Great quality replacement. If you have any problems or issues, they will bend over backwards to get it resolved asap. Great customer service also.

I had purchased a top from Robbins in the past and the installer, installed it incorrectly. I took pics of the top, due to premature wear, and sent it to Robbins and they sent me a brand new top as well as contacting the installer and getting him to reinstall the new top correctly, obviously at no charge to me. I recieved my new top from them two days after sending them my photos.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I highly recommend them

**and no, I don't work for Robbins

It is to my understanding that the tops with glass windows do not fold down as far as the tops with plastic windows. I think it has something to do with the glass window not being able to fold in half, as the plastic one did. I think my '04 top sits maybe 1-3 inches higher than my friends '01 when folded completely back.

That is correct. The glass window hinders the top from fully reclining.

mine is alot higher than 2-3 inches. I think the canvas needs to stretch... I just don't remember b/c since I bought the car it mostly has been at the top shop.
