I believe he's just asking for general resale. Which is better than most, not as good as some.
Just look at the selling prices on autotrader and cars.com.

Overall resale is outstanding. The car was just listed as having the highest resale of any roadsters on the market. Even now with 4 year old cars on the market you rarely see them priced below 21,000 which is outstanding on a 32,000 dollar car. Normal resale on a 3 year car is 50 to 55% of value so the older S2000 should be worth 16 to 18,000. They are doing much better!

I believe I saw somewhere that the s2k's resale value was tied for 6th in the country out of all the vehicles. . .needless to say the resale value is outstanding; it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 56%-59%.

Does anybody else think that S2000 resale is going to be similar to Supra and 300ZX TT resale? Those cars depreciated very slowly, and then stopped! I don't expect the S2k to actually appreciate like some Supra TT's, but I think that they will probably hit a floor in the $12k to $15k in a few years as long as they are kept in pretty good shape.
