Car Appreciating in Value?
So today I put in my car's specs on KBB.com, and it is worth more than it was when I bought it, and that is with 6000 more miles on it! So is the S2000 appreciating in value? Anyone have any theories as to why it may be this way?
I think it is the low number imported, plus the number of them that have been crashed (snap oversteer unfortunately.
Still, pretty sweet!

Well I am a kid (19 years old), and I had one close encounter with the snap oversteer that brought me to respect the car, so I think this car will last me a very long time.
My car is stock, and I might put some AP2 wheels on it, but that'd be it. If I want a super fast dragster, I'll go buy myself a Vette or Mustang and keep the S for the mountain roads.
I have to agree with you too, that the Hellaflush cars will be worth considerably less, but they won't be less desirable. Think about all of the muscle cars in the 70s where owners jacked the back end in the air. Those cars are worth less because they aren't stock, but they are definitely desirable.
Just my $.02 though.
