Default RESONATOR GONE!

well, just got the S back. got in the car, started it up, and right away i could tell it was a lot deeper below 4 grand. in the higher rpms, its not as noticeable, but a tad different. when we got home, i had my wife jump in it and take it up and down the block, and i have to say, it sounds pretty cool. it definitley doesnt sound like your typical "ricer" exhaust, but a very aggressive sound. i'm sure everyone gets different results with this, but i think they did a pretty good job. has a bit of rasp to it, but not much at all. i give this a big thumbs up. only cost 36 bucks and thats pretty cheap to sound more like a sports car!!!

After three months, I'm also very happy with my resonatorectomy; although, I do not consider the "new" sound raspy... just a little deeper and not much louder.

My resonatorectomy rasps after every startup. But after a minute of driving when the pipes are warm, it sounds great.

I had this done as well to my car and after reading all the posts I thought it would sound very good. But honestly its not that big of a deal. It doesnt sound A LOT deeper like some members have stated in the past but it does sound slightly deeper.. It doesnt sound much raspy when ur driving the car but it does sound a little raspy from an outside view. Over all I like the way it sounds over stock but its not as great as memebers make it seem like it is. I even remember someone stating that it sounds similar to a Z, which it does not even sound one bit similar to.

Whatever you do, don't put a test pipe on after doing this. You'll be mistaken for a civic coming down the road...

it definitley sounds a lot better from outside the car. when i mean "raspy", its almost an aggressive sound, doesnt even sound like a honda 4 cylinder(civics).
