Default Respraying Rick's S badge

I want to get a white background with a black S for Rick's badge, but it's not offered, so I wondering if it was easy to open up Rick's badge and respray. If it's relatively easy, I would get the silver background with black S and repaint over the silver. If it's too difficult or would crack the coating, I'll just settle for the black background on silver S. Thanks.

The badges are somewhat flexible, so I seriously doubt you'd be able to "open" them up without destroying them.

Really? I've seen pics of silver on silver. There was also that old thread when someone customized one for his suzuka blue before Rick made a blue one. I don't think there will be enough call for Rick to make a white one.

What does that have to do with the ease of taking Rick's badge apart? I wish stratocaster would give an input.

I read on a thread that Rick needs to make 100 badges to break even. Now that's a lot of names. A lot of GPWs already have Rick's badges too. I suppose we could get it a petition started, but let's ask Rick if he's even willing to do this first.
