Resurrected love of my S2000 - Autocross
Lately I have been second guessing my choice of buying an S2000. I have had it since January, and my life style makes this car very tough to live with. Eveyday, I drive to work with my 60lb Boxer and pick up an employee of mine. It was really becoming a drag, and I was weighing my options as to what might be on the horizon for a new car.
This past Sunday, I participated in my first Autocross. Needless to say, I have no more intentions of getting rid of my car. It was the best experience I have had in my car since I bought it. It was great going there and getting the respect of other car owners, and tearing up the track.
I didn't kick-ass by any means, but I held my own for my first time. I have ****ty tires on my car, and had a hard time keeping up with the direction of the track, but just loved being there.
The moral of the story: If you question whether to keep your S2000 or not...Don't do anything until you get it on the track.
