However I could be wrong...
Folks,
Listen up. I have a friend who bought one of the very first S2000s in Michigan... ordered at the Detroit Auto Show when they first came out. He is not active at this site; however, he personally contacted American Honda within the past month. The person he spoke with indicated that Honda is CONSIDERING spliting the costs with owners of plastic window cars IF there is enough PUSH-BACK from owners who feel they came up short.
It sounded encouraging to me. My first thought is to organize something through this site along with the support... maybe inside contacts of S2kCA... to see what MIGHT be possible. Keep in mind they didn't promise anything but they might be willing to share the load.
Ideas?

I talked to a local Honda parts guy who called American Honda about installing a glass window in a '00/'01 S2000. They both said that you would have to install a whole new roof. That's no new info.
But the parts cost for the whole new roof is $1300 bucks...so why would you pay $1800 for some sort of conversion kit?
