Reverse Question.
Actually, and I am not joking, this is written in the manual. The proper way to engage reverse is:
From neutral push the stick all the way to the right until it stops. If then you press it down and then right again you will feel a step and the stick will move further to the right. Then push backwards and you will be in reverse.
In other words, if you push the stick from neutral all the way to the right it will stop in front of the 6th. But if then you press down it can go further to the right and then while you keep pressing down you put it in reverse.

It's pretty obvious when you have it in R instead of 6, IMHO.
there is a circular plug on your rear bumper. remove that plug and you'll find a towing hook. tie a rope to that hook and pull your car backwards- honda was serious when they said a "no frills" car. it kinda sucks when i have to do this in traffic. everyone honks at me
