If you could match the material of the race seat with the stock pass side it would look good. Many times your passenger won't like to have to fit into a racing seat.

At any rate, having only one is definitely not rice.

Dude if you want to then go for it its your car, who cars what we think. I'm planning on getting a pair of bride seats eventually, a really expensive stiff one for the driver and a Comfy but similar looking one for the passenger seat

meh i think its fine, just get the second seat later... never know, someone might be in the same situation as me where my driver seat leather is over abused and is beginning to degrade but the passenger side is pristine

Regardless of the intent... the first thing I think of when I see only 1 aftermarket seat is that the owner couldn't afford the other one.

form over function.....

If all you want is one seat, then buy one seat and spend the rest of the money else where.

I have one Bride in my STi - and the rest of the money bought me some Prodrive rims. No complaints here.

I agree having 2 different seats may look misplaced but the money you dont spend on the second seat you can spend on something like suspension
Agreed

If you're not tracking it, one OR two is rice.

My track car has seats because I need them to work with my 6 pt harness. They are a pain in the ass to get in and out of, are uncomfortable and do not hold up as well as an OEM seat.
